A few days ago, at around 9 AM in the morning, a man wearing army uniform showed up in our foundation office. We found it unusual to receive a visit this early morning, since usually, people are coming at 12 PM or above. After welcoming him and had quite a talk with him, we knew that this man turned out to be the caretaker (Takmir) of a mosque in Karangrejo, Magetan.
His name is Mr. Kasiran. He was in Malang for some business, and that morning, he was planning to go back to Magetan. Before that, he took some time to visit us in Ariosan Foundation office. He thought it must be nice to pay some gratitude for helping the community where he lives by building a mosque. He later sent some documentation in the form of photos and videos of the mosque and the activities conducted in it.
Some minutes before he left, he was being introduced to the Media Ummat crew and had some conversation. We introduced Media Ummat since it is part of Ariosan Foundation, with the focus of reporting actual news to the world. The website is presented using English, and Mr. Kasiran had some enjoyable conversation using English with the content writer.
He was in hurry that day, in order to go back to his hometown. That little visit that morning left us a great impression towards humanity, and the pleasure to serve more and more people and communities.
