Ariosan Foundation runs Santripreneur program as an effort to cultivate entrepreneurship for students starting from young ages. It also aims to develop industry unit in Islamic boarding schools. Hence, on July 17, 2020, Ariosan Foundation endowed 2 sewing machines for Al-Ulum Islamic Boarding School Dadapan Wajak, Malang Regency.
At present, the world is entering the era of the industrial revolution 4.0., which encourages digital economy to be implemented. The effect of this industry revolution varies in terms of the workforce needed, employment-related things, the amount of demand, quality being expected, and so on. In many cases, manual production by labor is also being replaced by machinery. Therefore, the assistance of sewing machine is expected to increase the productivity of the students in making convection products. The caretakers of Al Ulum Islamic Boarding School welcomed Ariosan Foundation’s support towards Santripreneur program and also the endowment of two sets of sewing machines.

1: Santripreneur is an acronym for santri and entrepreneur. Santri itself is an Indonesian term meaning students who study in Islamic boarding schools.
