In order to celebrate Eid al-Adha, on Sunday, August 2, 2020, Ariosan Foundation holds an Islamic feast of sacrifice take place in MA Al-Irtiqo’ Malang – an Islamic boarding school under Ariosan Foundation. This event is intended to commemmorate Prophet Ibrahim who willingly sacrificed his own son at Allah’s command. This event was organized and attended by members and employees of Ariosan Foundation, including the teachers of MA Al-Irtiqo’ Malang.
The celebration started at 12 PM, after the midday prayer. It begins with the slaughter of the sacrificial animal, which is a cow. After the meat being skinned, washed, and cut into parts, the Qurbani meat is ready to be distributed. The Qurbani meat packages were distributed to the employees of Ariosan Foundation, teachers of MA Al-Irtiqo’, and to the people residing in vicinity.
