On August 14, 2020, at around 4 PM, we set off from Ariosan Foundation office to Batu. Our exact destination was Anugerah Kasih Foundation which is located in Bumiaji, a little sub-district in Batu. This foundation is focused on giving treatment and physiotherapy for children and teenagers with disabilities. The patients range from babies, toddlers, and the eldest is a 22-year-old. They suffered from various disabilities like locomotor disability, muscular dystrophy, neuromuscular disease, and many more.

There are four people living in the quarter of this foundation. Those four people are the ones who do the physiotherapy for the patients. Two of these practitioners are Bagus and Primaski. Bagus himself had an amputation of his left leg, and he has been wearing a prosthetic leg since he was 2 years old. While Primaski, he has a muscular contraction disease in his legs and hands, though he can control and get used to it already – after a long journey of practicing. However, he needs a wheelchair to ease his mobility. Fun facts, he owns the superb ability of cooking, and he is the cook of the quarter!

Ariosan Foundation distributed two units of wheelchair from the donors to Anugerah Kasih Foundation. The first one was for Primaski, and the second one was for a patient whose parents reported quite a long time ago that their child needs one. We really hope that these little gifts would be beneficial for them. Thanks to the donor!
