The Students of Islamic University Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang who gathered in a student’s study service (KKN), in collaboration with the Ariosan Foundation, represented the Quran to the villagers of Tulungrejo. In order to encourage the spirit of the Qur’an, The waqf activity was conducted by students at the KKN location, which is located in Tulungrejo Village, Bumiaji sub-district, Batu, East Java, Indonesia.
KKN Public Relations Division, Rachmat said’ this waqf Qur’an we do as an effort to increase the spirit of learning Qur’an for children; however, Muslims should read the Qur’an.
We did the waqf Al-Qur’an as our effort in devoting to the community, and also to give encouragement to children who study in elementary school, and junior Hight school.
“We represent the students of KKN. Alhamdulillah, Thank you Ariosan Foundation for waqf Al- Qur’an assistance. May the generation of Qur’an in Tulungrejo village continue to grow and give birth to children who are devoted to religion,” said Rachmat.
