About US

The establishment of the foundation was conducted in the presence of notary Edna Hanindito, S.H., M.Kn. with Notarial Deed No. 2 on 15th of December 2010, as determined by the Decree of Minister of Law and Human Rights of Indonesian Republic No. AHU-1008. AH. 01.04. Year 2011.

Some programs conducted by Ariosan Foundation are Education Scholarships and Human Empowerment programs. The assistance provided by this program is primarily in the form of relief for children and underprivileged communities (fakir, dhuafa’, elderly widows, orphans, etc.). The purpose is that they can continue their study in a boarding school that is equivalent to high school with non-formal education, with the implementation of Tahfidz Curriculum. The Human Empowerment program is aimed for people who are less equipped with skills that they need, so that later they can be economically independent. Besides those that has already mentioned, some programs also cover the constructing of study rooms for people living in remote areas, providing help to the victims of natural disasters (housing, food, and medicine), and drilling water pipes for wells in water-crisis areas.

orphans aid

The chairperson of Ariosan Foundation, Galuh Alamsyah, expressed his concern about Indonesian people’s condition in facing Covid-19 outbreak which has become a global pandemic. This pandemic, by all means, has changed people’s life especially Indonesians. Lots of people lost their job, get lower income, and in a way or another, those also affect the life of orphans.

This led to an action of relief distribution to the mosques around Malang fostering and taking care of orphans. The relief distribution was received directly by the Imam and Ta’mir of the mosques. “This is as an attempt at implementing social distancing,” he said. Galuh also explained that this activity serves as an effort of Ariosan Foundation to alleviate the burden of single parents and foster parents of orphans at the Elementary or Middle School level around Malang.

This activity took place in Ariosan Foundation office on 6th of June 2020, and handed over to 400 orphans in Malang.

covid-19 aid

In this critical period of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ariosan Foundation distributed reliefs in the form of basic needs to 100 residents living in Sumbermanjing Wetan, on Tuesday, 11th of April 2020. Quds Hamid Mahmood – the member of Ariosan Foundation governing board – said that the main target of this relief distribution is the family of residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to him, who is familiarly known as Sheikh Quds, the reason why the foundation distributed the reliefs to Sumbermanjing Wetan residents was because there were no other social organizations that provided assistance to them. He continued, the funds came from various donors, one of which was the Sadaqa Welfare Fund Foundation.

Maybe not us, but some people do need help. If you wish to give a donation in the form of money or goods, you can go directly to the Ariosan Foundation office, or transfer it to the Ariosan Foundation bank account.

ramadhan food packs

Ariosan Foundation once again distributed hundreds of food packs to indigent people. This was meant to help and enliven less fortunate people as Ramadhan was already in sight, so that all Muslims can welcome and celebrate it blissfully. “The food packs that have been prepared has reached 200 packages,” said Reo, the secretary of Ariosan Foundation during the food packs distribution in Wonorejo, Sukodono, Dampit, Malang Regency, on April 2, 2020.

The food packs contain a number of basic needs such as rice, sugar, cooking oil, sardines (canned food), macaroni, and flour. The food packs are expected to help them fulfilling their food supplies during Ramadhan.

Reo said that the prices of food supplies in the markets in the beginning of this fasting month increase compared to normal days, while there are still lots of people could not afford to buy a decent amount of those.

This event is certainly impossible to be organized without the help and donation from various parties which were collected in prior to Ramadhan. One of the parties being a donor was Sadaqa Welfare Fund. The distribution of food packs has been carried out routinely during the holy month of Ramadan.
