There are two dimensions of worship such as; social worship and individual worship. Both are done solely to increase faith and piety in the side of Allah SWT. There are at least five characters of the pious.
First, there is faith in the unseen الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ “alladzina yu’minuna bil-ghaibi”, the second is to establish prayers وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ ““wa yuqimuna as-salata”, the third is to spend some of the possesions given by Allah SWT to brands that need وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنْفِقُونَ “wa mimma razaqnaa hum yunfiqun”.
Fourth, it is faith in the Quran which was revealed through the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and the kitab that were sent down before the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) PBUH. وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ “wal-lladzina yu’minuna bimaa unzila ilaika wa maa unzila min qablika”. The fifth is belief in the hereafter (wa bil-akhirati hum yuqinun).
The typology of the pious has two dimensions of worship. Namely social worship and individual worship. The classification is that believing in God is a type of individual worship, establishing individual worship prayers, faking is social worship, faith in God is individual worship, and believing in the hereafter is individual worship.
The typology of the pious into five characters is summarized by KH Ali from surah Al Baqarah. From these verses it is known that of the five characters of worship, only one alludes to social worship, namely faking.
