Three Types of Worship Quality

The meaning of worship is everything that can bring love and pleasure from Allah, from words and acts that are visible and inward.

Worship is classified into four kinds. Among them are based on the type of servant’s actions, quality, the existence of ‘illah in it, and based on its scope and based on sharia law. Worship based on its quality is divided into three types. Among them are asy-sya’a’ir al-kubro, asy-sya’a’ir ash-shughro, and mulhaqot.

Asy-Sya’a’ir al-Kubro

The meaning of worship which includes asy-sya’a’ir al-kubro is worship that becomes arkan or foundation in the religion of a slave. This worship is what is written in this hadi website.

Assyya’i ash-Shughro

Worship which includes asy-sya’a’ir ash-shughro is in addition to worships categorized as the foundation of Islam. Such as ekirt, supplication, quran recitation, alms, etc.

Mulhaqot

The meaning of the worship categorized mulhaqot is every worship that is not worship. That is the word of a slave in the life of this world, and punished as a thing that is mubah. Like eating, drinking, and sleeping.
