The Story of Muhammad: Who Will be the Dwellers of Heaven

Once in the fasting month the companions sat down with the Prophet in front to hear religious advice. Suddenly the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “What will pass through this will be the prospective inhabitants of Heaven.”

Hearing that the friends were curious and it is true that soon there was a man who dressed modestly passing in front of the Prophet SAW and the companions while carrying his slipper.

The next day the Prophet (ﷺ) and his companions were sitting in front of the mosque while talking as usual, the Prophet (ﷺ) said again. “What will pass this later is the future inhabitants of Heaven.”

And the real man appeared again. Eventually Ali’s best friend followed the man and asked permission to spend the night at his house. After being observed the behavior of the man several nights was found no specialty, except when sleeping flipped over.

“However, the man always mentions the name of God,” he said.

Ali’s friend reported to the Prophet (ﷺ) “O My Prophet, what is the advantage of this person until he is promised to enter Paradise while his worship I see is mediocre?”

The Prophet (ﷺ) smiled and said, “This man has no grudge in his heart, nor hatred towards others. His heart is clean from stains, lusts, anger, envy, grudges and hasads. It was his clean heart that drove him to paradise.”

From Abu Hurayrah ra that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Stay away from hasad because it eats the reward of goodness as fire eats firewood. (HR. Abu Daud Bulughul Maram no. 1508)

Glory be to Him Who raised up the ranks of the pure-hearted. Allah swt explains in surah as-sajdah verse 17 which means.

“No one knows the good things that await the beautiful are seen as a reward for what they do.”

The Prophet (ﷺ) explained in a Hadith Qudsi, From Abu Hurayrah RA the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Azza wa Jalla said “I have prepared something that has never been seen by the eye, has never been heard by the ear and never crossed the minds of men for my wrong servants. As a deposit, leave what Allah has shown you. (HR Muslim number 5.051).
